Kinda Official is a Seoul-based duo turning data into light and space, to show where people stand among machines.
Kinda Official은 데이터를 빛과 공간으로 바꿔, 기술 속 사람의 자리를 보여주는 서울의 2인 스튜디오입니다.
Kinda Official was founded by art director [Full name], who leads the creative work, and [Partner name], who runs business and operations.
The name holds the question behind every work. Machines now give the official answers: the right choice, the next song, the best route. Kinda Official is interested in the part that is left, the part of us that is not yet calculated.
The studio turns data into light, numbers and space. Sometimes the work shows people handing their judgment over to algorithms, as in FAKE CHURCH, a fictional church whose altar, Dataism, inscribes AI activity from around the world onto a cross of LEDs in real time. Sometimes it does the opposite: in Kinda Official Object, steel furniture senses the person who sits on it and answers in light, so that a space begins to recognise the people inside it.
Concept, design, light and code are developed in the studio and built with trusted fabricators and collaborators. The studio works across installation, furniture, web, apparel and collaborations with brands and spaces.

이름에는 모든 작업의 질문이 담겨 있습니다. 이제 공식적인 답은 기계가 내립니다. 무엇을 고를지, 다음에 들을 노래, 가장 빠른 길까지. Kinda Official은 그 뒤에 남는 부분, 아직 계산되지 않은 사람의 몫에 관심을 둡니다.
스튜디오는 데이터를 빛과 숫자, 공간으로 바꿉니다. 어떤 작업은 사람이 판단을 알고리즘에 넘겨주는 모습을 보여줍니다. 가상의 교회 FAKE CHURCH와 그 제단인 Dataism은 전 세계의 AI 활동을 실시간으로 받아 십자가 모양 LED에 새깁니다. 어떤 작업은 반대로 사람을 중심에 세웁니다. Kinda Official Object의 스틸 가구는 앉은 사람을 감지해 빛으로 답하고, 공간이 그 안의 사람을 알아보게 만듭니다.
콘셉트, 디자인, 빛과 코드는 스튜디오에서 만들고, 실물은 믿을 수 있는 제작소와 협력자와 함께 완성합니다. 설치, 가구, 웹, 어패럴, 브랜드·공간 협업을 넘나듭니다.
